Booking & Payments
Most bookings require a 30% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before your departure date. For bookings made within 60 days of travel, full payment is usually required upfront. Exact terms are confirmed on your booking invoice.
We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure online checkout, as well as bank transfer for larger group and custom bookings. All online payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways.
Yes. As soon as your booking and payment are processed, you'll receive a confirmation email with your itinerary, meeting point, and guide contact details. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us at info@kasiafricasafari.co.za.
Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
In most cases, yes — subject to availability. Contact our team as early as possible; date changes made well in advance are usually free or low-cost, while changes close to departure may incur a rebooking fee similar to our cancellation tiers.
If we cancel a tour due to circumstances like severe weather, safety concerns, or insufficient minimum group size, you'll be offered a full refund or the option to rebook on an alternative date at no extra charge.
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 14 business days. Bank transfer refunds can take slightly longer depending on your bank.
Before You Travel
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and activity-specific cover (e.g. for safari game drives or adventure activities). It is not included in your tour price.
Requirements vary by region — for example, some safari destinations in Southern and East Africa recommend malaria precautions and, in some cases, a yellow fever certificate for entry or transit. Consult a travel health clinic or your doctor at least 4-6 weeks before departure for guidance specific to your itinerary.
Layered, neutral-coloured clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen, and a light jacket for early morning game drives are essentials. For Cape Town city tours, comfortable shoes and a windproof layer are useful year-round given the changeable coastal weather.
On Tour
Many of our tours are family-friendly, though some safari and adventure activities have minimum age or fitness requirements for safety reasons. Check the "Physical Difficulty" section on the specific tour page, or contact us and we'll recommend family-suited options.
Most Cape Town-based day tours include hotel pickup and drop-off within the central Cape Town / Atlantic Seaboard area — this is confirmed on each tour's listing page. Multi-day safaris typically start from a central meeting point or airport, detailed in your booking confirmation.
Our guides primarily lead tours in English. Some tours offer additional languages depending on guide availability — this is listed on the individual tour page, or you can request a specific language when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate it.
