Day-by-Day Itinerary
A private guide meets you at George Airport and drives you to Tsala Treetop Lodge near Plettenberg Bay. Suites are raised in the forest canopy, each with a plunge pool and fireplace. Dinner is served in the treetop restaurant.
Spend the day on a private boat charter in Plettenberg Bay, watching dolphins, seals and, in season, whales. Lunch is served on board. Return to the lodge in the afternoon for spa time.
Drive to Tsitsikamma for a private guided walk to the Storms River Mouth and a boat trip up the gorge. Lunch is at a forest restaurant. Return to Tsala in the evening.
Hike the Robberg Peninsula with your private guide, then relax on Plettenberg Bay's beaches. In the afternoon, visit a local winery for a tasting. Dinner is in the lodge.
Visit Knysna for a private lagoon cruise and a walk to the Knysna Heads. Lunch is an oyster tasting at the waterfront. Return to Tsala for sundowners.
Choose from a scenic helicopter flight, horseback riding on the beach or a canopy tour. Your private guide tailors the day to your interests. Dinner is a private meal on your deck.
Spend the day relaxing at the lodge's spa, or explore Plettenberg Bay's galleries and shops. The evening includes a farewell dinner with wine pairing.
Enjoy a last morning walk in the forest or on the beach, then take an afternoon at leisure. Spend your final evening watching the sunset from the lodge.
