Day-by-Day Itinerary
Fly by light aircraft from Windhoek to Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. Settle into your glass-fronted suite with views over the desert. Spend the evening stargazing at the lodge's observatory.
Explore Sossusvlei's dunes and Deadvlei's ancient trees with your guide. Take a scenic flight over the dunes or go quad-biking in the desert. Evenings are spent at the lodge.
Fly north to Damaraland and check in to your camp among the rocky landscapes. Spend the afternoon exploring the area with your guide. Sundowners are served on a rocky outcrop.
Track desert-adapted elephants and rhinos in Damaraland's rugged terrain. Visit Twyfelfontein to see ancient rock engravings. Evenings are spent around the campfire.
Fly to Etosha and check in to your lodge near the park. Spend the afternoon on a game drive. Dinner is at the lodge.
Spend two days on game drives in Etosha, watching lion, elephant, rhino and huge herds at the waterholes. Etosha Pan is a vast salt flat visible from space. Your farewell dinner is at the lodge.
Fly back to Windhoek for your onward connections.
