Day-by-Day Itinerary

1

Fly by light aircraft from Johannesburg to the Singita airstrip. Boulders Lodge is built into the rocks along the river, with each suite opening onto a deck and plunge pool. Your first afternoon drive often finds leopard along the riverine thickets.

2

Head out at first light to find lion prides finishing a night hunt, or a leopard heading for shade. After a long brunch, spend the afternoon at the spa or join a wine tasting with the resident sommelier. The evening drive closes with sundowners on the banks of the Sand River.

3

Join an expert guide on foot to learn about the reserve's ecology, from termite architecture to tree-fruit cycles. A bush breakfast is set up under a jackalberry tree. In the afternoon, take a cooking class with the culinary team before your evening drive.

4

Find out about Singita's conservation work, including anti-poaching and research programmes, in conversation with the field team. Afternoon and evening game drives continue at your own pace. Dinner might be in the boma with traditional singing, or served privately on your deck.

Your last full day mixes game drives, relaxation and a private dinner in the wine cellar. Many guests use this time to revisit a favourite sighting or try to see wild dog. Sundowners overlooking the river make a fitting end to your stay.

A last sunrise drive and breakfast on the deck come before your light-aircraft flight back to Johannesburg.
